La vitamina A nos ayuda con la visi\u00f3n, el sistema inmunitario, la reproducci\u00f3n y el metabolismo, as\u00ed como con la funci\u00f3n del coraz\u00f3n, los pulmones, los ri\u00f1ones y el cerebro. Pero eso no es todo: la vitamina A tambi\u00e9n tiene propiedades antioxidantes que pueden proteger las c\u00e9lulas de los da\u00f1os causados por los radicales libres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La vitamina A se encuentra en muchos alimentos diferentes, como el salm\u00f3n, las espinacas y otras verduras de hoja verde, la leche, el queso, las yemas de huevo, las v\u00edsceras, el h\u00edgado de buey, el br\u00e9col, la calabaza, las zanahorias, el mel\u00f3n cantalupo, los mangos y los albaricoques. Adem\u00e1s, algunos cereales de desayuno est\u00e1n enriquecidos con vitamina A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las mujeres adultas deben consumir unos 700 microgramos (mcg) de vitamina A al d\u00eda, mientras que la recomendaci\u00f3n para los hombres se acerca m\u00e1s a los 900 microgramos (mcg) diarios.
